Being that football is uniquely American, the biggest celebration for the sport is Super Bowl Monday. more than half of the country tune in and those games can go into the midnight hours. I think it would be a great idea to create a SUPER BOWL MONDAY holiday so Americans can rest the day after Super Bowl.
Think about it....who wants to go back to work after celebrating the night before. Not only will Super Bowl Monday be great for most Americans, it will add to the legacy of the Obama admin. I think the last president to create a national holiday was Reagan with MLK day. Though it's a national holiday, we still have some Americans that don't celebrate MLK day for whatever reasons. But football goes beyond race, religion and ethnicity. Super Bowl Monday will a great for the nation!
