Create a new national system for dyslexia education, and reform current policy to allow such education.

Created by T.L. on November 27, 2012

As of right now, at least 20% of the population is dyslexic. other future studies may reveal that even this figure is too low, and the actual number may be higher.

in this evolving world, education needs to change to keep up with a changing environment, economy, and world view.

current education policies are harsh and unforgiving for someone with dyslexia. most teachers do not understand it, and therefore cannot teach people with it properly. often, dyslexics are mislabelled as "special needs" and put into programs that do not fit them, and ultimately lead to frustration and failure.

i want the administration to create new programs to help these kids to grow and prosper in an educational environment, and to provide for the kind of training they need and want for their future careers.
