There are thousands of people receiving welfare in the United States. There are currently no requirements requiring those individuals to try to secure work. There are also no provisions requiring individuals receiving welfare to submit to random drug testing. It should state that if you are going to be on welfare you should have to be subjected to random drug testing to keep your benefits. All persons physically able should be required to perform so many hours of community service to contribute to society in return for the assistance of the government. Failing the drug testing 1 time will get your benefits suspended for 1 month, 2nd offence is 3 months, and 3rd offence is permanent removal from services.
