I would like to propose that the President issue an executive order requiring airtight suits and decontamination pools for all healthcare facilities who work with patients in isolation wards (like Ebola patients). Airtight suits are also waterproof, and protect against droplet-borne diseases like Ebola. Healthcare workers in airtight suits can be decontaminated by totally immersing them in decontamination pools and having them walk and move around (all you need is liquid that kills bacteria and viruses). Once the suit is immersed and decontaminated, the healthcare worker can emerge from the pool, proceed to the next room and remove the suit safely. Training would be minimal. Suit punctures would require quarantine of the worker. Talk to NASA about articulate airtight suits.
