Create a new Supreme Court to hear only Death Penalty Cases giving the convicted only one appeal to the court system

Created by T.C. on November 14, 2012

Based on the fact that alot of tax money is wasted on allowing people sentenced to death to make four or five appeals that take ten years, I propose that the Obama Administration create a new five judge supreme court that will hear only death penalty cases. This would be the first and only appeal that a person sentenced to death would have to make. Once this appeal was made and denied then the convicted person would be executed. Tax payers should not be spending millions of dollars allowing a death penalty inmate to sit in jail for ten or twenty years making half a dozen appeals. I strongly incourage the Administration to consider this a viable option in bringing down the cost on tax payers of inmates sentenced to death.
