create a new U.S.S. Enterprise before 2025.

Created by E.P. on October 21, 2014

Since the creation of the United States Navy on October 13, 1775 there has been a U.S.S. Enterprise in service. The most resent U.S.S. Enterprise was decommissioned on December 1, 2012 and there is not due to be another one built until 2025. The span of time in which there will be no U.S.S. Enterprise in our Navy's fleet is 13 years. In the navy's history there has been a few time that the Enterprise was not in our navy's fleet. However, most of the that time there was not a scheduled decommission of current Enterprise nor was there a scheduled building for a new one. There are many ships being built and put into services within the next few years. Why, then, are we unable to put a new Enterprise into service until 2025, as is the tradition of our fine Navy?
