Why lightning harvesting? According to Georgia Public Broadcasting:
1. Quality- One lightning strike has the equivalent energy to power Denver for 10 days.
2. Quantity- Lightning strikes earth 30 times per second, or roughly 3 billion times per day.
Lightning harvesting could represent a significant breakthrough in renewable energy as well as the entire energy sector.As a result, we the people strongly urge the Office of the President, thoroughly review the viability of such an energy source for the foreseeable future, by and for the benefit of the people. In addition, if found satisfactory, we urge the Obama Administration, to take concrete steps to advance such atechnology,by directing the proper agencies in researching and developing a technology that could propel the next big breakth
