create online, digital text, readings, and curriculum for K - 12 education using the Dept of Education.

Created by M.H. on February 02, 2014

With the high cost of textbooks (where some quickly become outdated), school districts across the country are seeking online and digital resources. Some exists, but are either as costly as traditional textbooks, aren't high quality, or there still isn't enough to complete an entire K-12 curriculum. The Obama administration seeks wifi in schools, and believes in technology education, so it would make sense to provide content for teachers and students to use at no cost. The Dept of Education could head this up, ask experts in the field to provide content, and probably create a solid repository of material for teachers quickly and cheaply. These resources should be usable on any platform (e.g., Internet, tablets, smart phones).
