When the US Government was established it made sense for the time since there was no possible way for the people to vote on every law that was written, made sense then.
However, laws are being passed that are not the will of the People, but in fact benefit only the politicians and/or their parties.
Two examples are: Immigration and gun control. Both are important issues that affect all Americans.
With the birth of the internet, for the first time in history the possibility exist to create an on line voting system for all Americans to vote on EVERY law, not Politicians. The American People know what is best for our country. Politicians should only write laws and now the People should vote to pass them. This will ensure the People control America, not the Government.
