Create opportunities for minority-owned companies and environments within the Gov't to level the playing field.

Created by C.A. on December 05, 2013

I use to think that working hard, being intelligent, prepared, professional and educated was enough to be successful in Gov't contracting but that is and never was the case. I have a small business that's followed all the rules of the FAR, certified in the SBA 8(a) business development program for 7 years and have not seen the benefit of it. We are a high-tech company so I know there are opportunities available but we never get a chance because most of the opportunities are decided by some Gov't officials who don't want to see this program or black/minorities succeed in business. If the playing field was level, there wouldn't be a need for it in the first place. I know the POTUS can relate to what we are dealing with, he deals with it everyday. We need a Czar to ensure everyone can win.
