U.S. citizenship is forced on the Indigenous peoples who already have their own tribal identity/affiliation/citizenship with no agreement and no representation in the government of the colonizer. The U.S. government has a responsibility to provide adequate voice to our peoples. Since we could not be eradicated through force, extermination, or assimilation it is time to allow us to remind this country of long forgotten and often avoided natural virtues. Environmental protection, human rights, animal rights, foreign policy, and re-conciliatory justice are just a few of the issues where an Indigenous perspective is non existent in the U.S..
