In the United States, we currently have an opt-in system where you are forced to go through the paperwork and opt-in to be an organ donor. This proposal simply states that instead of choosing to opt-in, you simply choose to opt-out. This will significantly increase the number of people who are organ donors, while still allowing anyone who wishes to to opt out.
