We, the people of the United States, understanding the need for the government of this great nation to be kept in check from doing foolish things (as it does frequently), acknowledge the need for open petitions to be brought before them by the people,
And whereas,
This privilege is often taken advantage of by the people of the United States,
And whereas,
Some of those people are often no less foolish than the government and thus create foolish petitions which are, in turn, signed by other foolish people,
Do hereby petition for an "anti-sign" option on petitions to enable intelligent individuals to detract votes from the legions of the foolish who sip government Kool-Aid.
