The traffic on 10th street on the Indiana University Bloomington's campus at many times throughout the academic week becomes a problem in various ways. At times it takes anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half to simply move a half a mile from 10th and Jordan to 10th and Woodlawn.
This traffic not only is an accident waiting to happen with all of the pedestrians crossing, but it also causes the public transportation to become almost an inconvenience, and during the Winter it can be a health hazard.
I believe that this issue could be fixed by simply adding an overpass or an underpass at the walkway off the Business School on 10th street. With traffic not having to stop for pedestrians, the traffic all across 10th street would be eliminated helping both safety and convenience.
