Most people do not realize that we are not "turning on" daylight savings for the winter. We actually turn it off.
There are many reasons why this barbaric practice should be abandoned but many people on both sides of the argument.
a middle ground solution can resolve this issue once and for all.
Instead of swinging back and forth an hour we need to create an overall reset.
Since we have DST ON for most of the year i Propose we either choose to set the clocks ahead 30 minutes the next time we turn it on. and then ever after consider this to be USA time. no set backs in future, or the next time we turn it OFF we set back only 30 minutes and consider that to be the final time we change USA TIME.
stop flinging america back and forth. split the difference. do it once and call it done.
