Climate change has become a permanent reality by the burning of fossil fuels in the United States and other countries. This scientifically proven fact needs to make its way into our national dialogue so that policies can be created to incentivize companies to create and switch to green energy and so the United States can help developing countries leapfrog over dirty fuels. Coal, oil, natural gas, and nuclear energy are all dangerous forms of energy that are making climate change worse and wrecking our environment. If we continue without making green energy like wind, solar, and geothermal a priority, the world will face continuing natural disasters, famine, drought, wars over dirty energy, refugees, and escalating health risks.
