As citizens of the United States, we have the right to vote for a candidate of our choice, but there are no protections provided to us when it comes to who decides to run. Having a large group of differing candidtes gives us a choice, but there is no regulation in place to ensure that these choices are viable. If our citizens must undergo psychological evaluations for a position in Law Enforcement, Psychology, and many other non-gov't careers, isn't it our responsibility to ensure that the candidates we put in office are also required to undergo and pass a full psychological evaluation to determine if a candidate is mentally capable, fit, and prepared to run our country?
