In lieu of doing research and finding out that upwards to 90% of Congress has NOT served in the military, this petitions objective is to make Serving in the Military a requirement to run for a Congressional seat (Senate or House). The author of this petition feels that this requirement would improve the qualifications of elected members to better serve the American People.
