We, the people of the United States of America, on witnessing countless incidents of reprehensible irresponsibility committed by thoughtless law enforcement personnel, and witnessing to the sad state of affairs regarding the human condition, which is without respect or appreciation, do request the following:
That legislation be enacted to merit, as follows;
The Senior Citizens Protection Act, which requires all
law enforcement personnel be trained and tested on certain issues of mental health and natural aging which impedes the ability of the elderly to respond properly or in a timely manner to law enforcement requests, both to create responsibility in officers and enable them to better handle situations where they are called to engage a senior citizen with dementia or a disability.
