This petition is for creating a popular vote for president where the candidate with the most votes wins the election. This will increase voter turnout in non- swing states and everyone a equal say in electing a leader. The president makes laws over all people not just the states so why should we gives electorates based on winner takes all system? This also prevents congress from being in a position to decide who will be president. This is important because it gives the people more power over who they elect to rule!!!
