Create a Presidential Commission to establish higher hiring standards for law enforcement officers in the United States

Current hiring standards for police officers are no longer sufficient to deal with the multitude of societal issues that law enforcement agencies deal with on a daily basis. Steps need to be taken to insure that better educated, better qualified, better socially well- adjusted individuals are hired as police officers in this country.
