Create a program to provide women with additional reproductive support.

Many argue that the availability of abortion gives women a choice. Yet if a woman faces an unplanned pregnancy and has insufficient money, information, health care, social and/or partner support, then her only option may be abortion. Providing her with support to carry to term would give her two options from which to choose without having to worry about ending up on welfare or depending solely on support from self, family or religious groups. Let's develop a government program that provides women with information and guidance as well as monetary, social, and other types of support to help her for up to 3 years if she wants to carry to term - whether for self or adoption. Abortion is still a choice, but won't be her only choice just because she lacks resources.
