I do not understand why the publicity of this "NSA Scandal" revealed by Edward Snowden is just now getting this much backlash. The government has been spying on you for years and that's not much of a secret.
The fact that people are just now realizing this opens up a bigger issue than that of the government spying on you.
The fact of the matter is that people are either 1-not taught how to use their computer in a smart way or 2-don't even have a cursory knowledge of computers to be able to understand how they work.
Edward Snowden did not reveal anything that the majority of people shouldn't have known. I would urge everyone to talk to their school district board about putting more computer and technology based classes in the required curriculum.
