Create a prohibition against Members of Congress signing any pledge or oath other than their Oath of Office!

Created by S.M. on December 05, 2012

Enact legislation which would prohibit Members of Congress from signing/making any pledge or oath other than their Oath of Office-American citizens elect their members of Congress to do the bidding of those citizens; not the will of special interest groups. These oaths create a conflict of interest for Congressional representatives in carrying out their sworn duties to the United States and contribute significantly to gridlock in Congress. Therefore, they should be made illegal, and any such oath already made should be repealed by this law.
