With the 14th Amendment, equal protection is legally provided to US citizens throughout the United States. Yet in district elections only winners are represented. Just like a person 5"4' tall will not find many representatives among basketball players, we, the non-winners, are hardly ever represented in our election outcomes.
The Constitution states that separate-but-equal is unconstitutional, but in district elections we are separated first and only next declared equal. In the outcomes we are far from equal. We have a constitutional right to be each other's equals in the results.
True, the Constitution describes electing Federal representatives in detail. But the local government should follow the 14th Amendment. We ask you to help implement that legal US requirement at the local level.
