Should a general assault weapons ban be deemed necessary by the Federal Government, then allow for a convention that provides for the following:
- A registration & platform for the establishment of state-level individual & independent paramilitary militia groups of Civilians, unregulated by the military, who are concerned with the right to protect the US homeland, their own family, small residential areas & neighborhoods.
- Such a group would be made of volunteers who would undergo psychiatric evaluation & training, and subsequently have the right to purchase ANY firearm at it's own expense without limitations greater than that exercised over the US military.
- Militias would receive proper military training, discipline and certification, but be free of military command or obligation.
