create a provision under the Affordable Care Act that extends health insurance coverage to foster care until age of 26.

Created by S.K. on March 07, 2013

Foster care children released from foster care at the age of 21 are required to get their own health insurance. But other young adults, under the Affordable Care Act are protected with their health insurance as dependents under their parents. It is unjust to have foster care participants to be forced into providing for their own insurance when others are protected. In order to treat all people equally, we the people encourage petitioners to right this wrong.
