Create Public Manufacturing Shops to Enable Civilian Innovation, and Grow Science/Math Culture

Created by H.H. on October 27, 2013

Often an individual may have a bright idea for a new device, design, or a system comprised of existing technology. He or she may want to try to experiment with it, but does not own the necessary tools, safety equipment, nor appropriate workspace to take on the project. Many great and innovative ideas pop up and go in many people due to the lack of immediate resources to make the dream a reality. Every human has a desire to create. With the U.S economy growing in technological superiority it is necessary that the American people have access to the "training wheels" of the industry. This will allow ordinary citizens to contribute to the economy with innovative technology, and build momentum for a larger science/math culture. The idea is similar to a public library.
