Create a Public Option Under Medicare "E" for "Everyone"

Created by C.S. on December 26, 2012

Self-Insured employers are able to keep their employees from having choices of medical providers/facilities. These practices are within the Employee Retirement and Income Security Act of 1974. The only agency that an employee can appeal to is the United States Department of Labor and the possibility of any positive outcome is 0%.

We request that a Public Option under Obamacare be established so that any employee can opt out of their employers insurance plan and be able to be covered under Medicare provided that they pay the appropriate premiums. With this, any citizen will no longer be limited in which medical provider/facility they can access medical care. It will also allow any individual to be able to find work where the benefits offered are not contingent on the employer.
