Corporate influence, special interest groups and big money have created a new class of politicians that are beholden to corporations rather than the American people. We are no longer a democracy that is of the people, by the people and for the people.
Big money in our political system has corrupted our leaders and has lead to a government that is slowly destroying the American Dream, while enriching corporations and the wealthy few that have benefited from the American Dream.
A representative government is the foundation of our democracy and without it we do not have a voice. We need publicly funded elections to remove the corporate influence from elections.
