Municipalities and school districts would compete for grants to convert to American made clean energy technology. Grants would be awarded based on cost effectiveness and efficiency. The grants would lower energy costs on local government while creating manufacturing jobs here in America and reducing carbon emissions across the country.
Additionally by creating more demand in the green technology field, costs should come down allowing more homeowners to convert to renewable technologies creating more demand, more jobs and further reducing costs.
