When one is first faced with a joke, the appropriate response is to laugh. When one is faced with a joke repeatedly, eventually the only appropriate response becomes to satirize and parody the joke itself. Our current presidential election is a joke. Our previous elections have been jokes. It is time we recognized the joke our election system has become and appropriately responded to it. Therefore, in acquiescing to the sound byte-driven politics of the day which relies exclusively on controversy and manufactured realities, we the American people petition our government to enshrine such "tune in next week" democracy as such. We request, via Executive Order, that the remaining candidates live and govern jointly on a reality TV show titled either "Hillump Cranders" and "Bernary Crump".
