Social Security is an important program for American well-being and the majority of Americans support it. It should be addressed separately from the overall budget process. It should be strengthened in a fair manner. Rather than burying a difficult to understand proposal such as the use of the chained CPI in an overall budget, we petition you to propose reasonable solution alternatives with easily understood pros and cons to the American Public in a "Save Social Security" Referendum.
