I ask for a national regulation of flashing lights used for emergency, utility, and transportation vehicles to a standard agreed upon by the National Epilepsy Foundation and certified, reputable neurologists.
The frequent use of bright, flashing lights on government and corporate vehicles is extremely dangerous for those with optical or epilepsy issues. Multiple medical issues have been directly related to being exposed to flashing lights when neural or optical damage is or has been present.
It can be easily proven that a reduced subjection to rapidly flashing lights and bright LEDs improves the medical lives of those with brain or eye issues, and can greatly reduce the need of immediate medical attention for those that suffer.
