We believe that if the government can not balance the budget to avoid the coming fiscal cliff, thus creating a huge tax issue for the people of the United States, then they should forfeit their pay for a portion of their remaining term as a tax penalty to address the amount of tax money already being directed to their pockets and put it back into the general budget, and penalize them for putting partisanship above the will and needs of the American people.
