Parking Violations, Red Light Cameras Tickets and other, "non-consensual debts" are absolutely not a reflection of a person's credit worthiness, yet local governments and states leverage collection agencies and credit bureau filing threats and actions to create undue hardship on a person's ability to obtain "consensual debt!"
Credit bureaus should only consider signed or consensual debt when calculating a person's credit score.
This regulation will still allow for violation debt of, for example, a signed speeding ticket; since a person's signature is a signed acknowledgement of consequences.
