Responsible legislation is not against the gun lobby, gun ownership or the second amendment. It is about responsible training, ownership and competency to own such a weapon. It is also about human rights, the ability to bear arms and the ability not to bear arms for all of our families. Do we want our families raised in an environment of martial law?
Guns kill for many reasons, improper storage, criminal intent, emotional instability - or simply the weapon gets into the wrong hands or sometimes all of the above.
