Create restrictions on welfare eligibility and use funds to assist mothers who work.

This petition's goal is to support change in our welfare program. Unemployment is high, and in order to create a better workforce, we need to encourage citizens to work, not stay unemployed. Welfare should be used for those with disabilities and those who need to be unemployed for any reason. Those that can work but don't should be on an unemployment program. The funds saved should go towards mothers who want to work, but can't afford childcare. Funding may be available for certification programs to create daycare jobs. Drug testing should also become part of the welfare program. We the People want change, and with change, enrichment and help to those who need it.
