Restrict the voting rights of non-homeowners from voting on raising taxes on homeowners for any reason. Why should non-homeowners be allowed to vote on raising taxes on those who do own homes?
An example would be an issue to raise homeowner taxes to contribute to schools and education. Why should anyone with or without kids that does not own a home be allowed a voice on raising taxes on those who do own a home to contribute to schools or education? Of course people who do not own a home but have kids would want to raise taxes on homeowners, when they themselves do not own a home.
