We have huge resource in this country, baby-boomers; who cannot afford to retire. Allow anyone 60 & over currently holding a job in the private sector to retire with full SS benefits. In return, these seniors could be part of a government jobs program; earning a nominal wage to supplement their SS benefits. Seniors could teach, mentor, be helpers in the President's pre-k program, work in any government sponsored job where they could contribute from their work experience and feel needed. This could open up thousands of jobs for younger workers, who otherwise, can't find jobs they can live on. This would be win for everyone; seniors, younger job seekers and the economy.
