The government has been responsible for many actions that result in them having special priviledges that other people don't have such as:
1) Their children don't have to repay their student loans
2) Congress gets to retire with pay after just one term (just think what it would be like if everyone could retire after a 4-8 year tenure!)
3) Congresses compensation should be similar to the people they represent.
3) Congress has a healthcare program that far above and beyond that of most people. Again, their benefits should be in line with the people they represent. If they want these benefits then they need to make these benefits available to people at the same cost they have to pay - they even exempted themselves from healthcare reform!
