This petition asks for a law and programs to enable parents in crisis to surrender their children without punishment, if they fear for their safety. Some states have Safe Haven programs and laws to enable newborns to be surrendered to Fire Stations or hospitals, but this would be a nationwide law to protect children of any age, who's parents fear they may harm their kids.
