We the law abiding citizens of the United States of America hereby call upon congress to develop a bill to institute the hire of medically retired police officers and military veterans who are physically capable to preform guard duties at schools. These individuals are trained and willing to work but may lack the ability to perform the rigorous obligations required to fulfill law enforcement/military duties. However, they still have the commitment and courage to defend the future of America, our children.
