Congress is at the Root of American problems. We have many elected officials that are completely out of touch with the reality of the average American. Disband Congress! Create an online infrastructure with public access terminals to enable the public to propose new legislation, and to vote to determine if that legislation shall become law. No more congressional health care package, retirement package, or any other benefit. The congressional model is outdated and based around a society that could not rapidly communicate. In the modern era their is no purpose to a congressperson except to be corrupted by private interests. It is much harder for a company to buy an entire nation than it is for them to buy a few congressmen.
