Create a secure online voting process through which the American People can make decisions when the Congress can not.

Created by W.W. on January 23, 2013

Not since the Greek city states has direct democracy been feasible in any society. This hasn't changed; due to the vast interconnected nature of world politics, most decisions are best addressed in the way in which they are currently addressed. HOWEVER, in recent months and years, many occasions have arisen which come down to a clear choice between one direction and another for our country. In these landmark decisions, our Congress has been necessarily careful in coming to decisions, at times choosing gridlock and bickering versus voicing controversial opinions that could lose them their seats. I propose that in specific instances where two clear paths may be proposed by respective parties, that this be done, and the American people be called on to make the decisions that Congress won't.
