The ability to respond to government at all levels should not be limited by location. The current 'We the People' platform could easily (with minimal funding) provide coverage of all elected officials. Why should we be limited to only giving feedback at the highest level. If locality is important, then we should be able to respond to all officials/offices of government in a similar manner and be given responses based on exceeding a vote threshold.
The likelihood of change is increased at a local level rather than a national (due to the number of respondents at each level) so the importance of exposing representative at the lowest levels of government is not only important, it may actually be more important than only having a feedback loop at the presidential level.
