A simplified tax code is essential. Require a tax form be submitted by all citizens of the United States regardless of income. A tiered system or a straight tax are equally ineffective if exemptions and deductions are allowed. A simplified tax code based on income must tax income from all sources in the same manner and not be reduced for dividends and capital gains.
