We would like a single payer system. This system can use the current infrastructure of our health insurance institutions, but they will be dealing with the government, not individuals.
We can remove the burden of insurance from employers and individuals, which can only lead to a more secure and prosperous job market.
In reality we are always going to be paying for our services in one form or another, but we would like the money we spend on health care to actually pay for healthcare, not an elaborate and over compensated health insurance administration.
