The President should have one single seven year term in order to focus all his attention completely to the task of running the United States. It is demeaning and wasteful that the person in this position has to be distracted for campaigning. At the appropriate time, two or more new candidates can challenge each other for the position. Consequently national or foreign emergencies can be quickly handled by the president allowing him more time to do what we elected him for.
