Create a site like this one for lawmakers to anonymously challenge bills & spending proposals.

Created by P.D. on December 31, 2012

The government has a unique and uncanny ability to waste money that puts MC Hammer to shame. Call it “pork,” “waste,” etc. it hurts us all. Create a voting website such as “We the People” to allow individuals to vote in or out these waste items.

I understand lawmakers are ‘forced’ to sign (or not sign) otherwise good bills into law without first accepting the special-interest pork items which are attached. I suggest that if a challenged wasteful item is not first accepted by “the people,” we don’t spend the money on it. For example; 25,000 people must "ok" a perceived wasteful item. By keeping the proposing lawmaker anonymous we can forgo the bickering and keep intact the bipartisanship you folks are known for.
